Nikki Blonsky to Join NBC’s Smash in Recurring Role

Nikki Blonsky, who was nominated for a Golden Globe for her performance in the film musical Hairspray, will guest star in a recurring role during the second season of NBC’s drama Smash, according to The Hollywood Reporter. No details about her appearance have been announced.
Blonsky’s credits also include the stage production of Love, Loss, and What I Wore, as well as the ABC Family television series Huge.
The actress joins a long list of guest stars for the drama’s second season, including Jennifer Hudson, Sean Hayes, Jesse L. Martin, and many others.
