Nicholas Hytner’s Hamlet, Starring Rory Kinnear, to Receive December 9 NT Live Broadcast

A complete list of New York area venues that will carry the NT Live broadcast of Nicholas Hytner’s production of Hamlet, starring Rory Kinnear, David Calder, Clare Higgins, Patrick Malahide, and Ruth Negga, has been announced. As previously reported, the initial screenings will be held on December 9, with additional encore dates scheduled through the end of December.

On December 9, it will be possible to see Hamlet at The Brooklyn Academy of Music, Cinema 123 in Manhattan and Kew Gardens Cinema. Additionally, the production will be seen at the Jacobs Burns Film Center in Pleasantville, NY, Fairfield University in CT, Katharine Hepburn Culture Arts Center in Old Saybrook, CT, and Momouth University in NJ. Encores will be offered in New York City on December 13 at the NYU Skirball Center for the Arts and in Hudson, NY on December 17 at Time and Space.

Among the nationwide venues that will offer screenings are the Shakespeare Theatre Company in Washington, DC, the Mann Theatre in Hollywood, Lensic Performing Arts Center in Santa Fe, NM, Coolidge Corner Theatre in Boston, MA, Guthrie Theater in Minneapolis, MN, La Mirada Theatre for the Performing Arts in La Mirada, CA, Shalin Liu Performing Arts Center in Rockport, MA, Hopkins Center for the Arts at Dartmouth University and many more.
