Neil LaBute, Sharr White, Michael Weller Set for MCC’s Reading Series at Drama Book Shop

MCC Theater will present a special reading series at The Drama Book Shop’s Arthur Seelen Theatre, featuring the three playwrights who have written the trio of world premieres the company is producing. The evenings will have the authors reading selections from their own works, and also include a Q&A and book signing.

Neil LaBute — whose The Break of Noon begins performances later this month, starring David Duchovny — will read on Wednesday, November 3 at 6pm.

The series will continue with Sharr White, whose The Other Place will be directed by Joe Mantello, in March 2011, and Michael Weller, who will premiere Side Effects with MCC, in May.
