Nancy Anderson, Kate Baldwin, Graham Rowat, et al. Set for American Musicals Project Concerts

Casting has been announced for American Musicals Project’s concert series and gala benefit at the New-York Historical Society, to be held on Mondays in March.

Sheldon Harnick will host the season opener on March 1, Fiorello!, which he wrote with composer Jerry Bock. The cast will include Robert Creighton, Megan Sikora, John Jellison, and Kate Baldwin, with direction by James Brennan and musical direction by Ted Kociolek.

The second concert, on March 8, features music from Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Oklahoma! and Lerner & Loewe’s Paint Your Wagon. Ted Chapin will host, and the cast will include George Dvorsky, Michele Ragusa, Graham Rowat, and Jessica Kostival. Gary John LaRosa will direct, with musical direction by Bob Bray.

Next, on March 15, will be music from Leonard Bernstein, Betty Comden, Adolph Green’s On the Town and Rodgers & Hammerstein’s South Pacific. Howard Kissel will host.

The series will conclude with the AMP Gala benefit on March 22, featuring music from Jerome Kern and Oscar Hammerstein’s Showboat. Oscar Andrew Hammerstein will host, and the cast will include Nancy Anderson, Catherine Brunell, Derrick Cobey, and Kevin Earley. James Brennan will direct.
