Mike Burstyn will participate in a panel discussion entitled Meet Off-Broadway Movers and Shakers at Borders Columbus Circle on February 2 at Noon.

The panelists — who will also include Michelle Bossy (Associate Director, Primary Stages), Julie Crosby (Producing Artistic Director, Women’s Project), Eli Gonda (Producer, Sleepwalk with Me), and Brenda Bell (Playwright & Producing Artistic Director, Literally Alive Children’s Theater) — will talk about art and life Off-Broadway.

Burstyn will star in the solo play Lansky, written by Richard Krevolin and Joseph Bologna (who also directs), to play St. Luke’s Theatre, beginning January 23 with an opening scheduled for February 5. His Broadway credits include Barnum and Ain’t Broadway Grand, and he starred in the national tours of The Tale of the Allergist’s Wife and Jolson. He received two Drama Desk nominations, for the productions On Second Avenue and The Rothschilds.

The panel is being presented in conjunction with 20 at 20, a promotion that allows audience members to see over 20 Off-Broadway shows for just $20. As part of that promotion, the Columbus Circle store will also be presenting special Noon performances by cast members from different Off-Broadway shows, including The Marvelous Wonderettes (January 26), My First Time (January 27), The Fantasticks (January 28), Altar Boyz (January 29), and Dear Edwina (January 30).
