Tony Award winner Idina Menzel and Broadway-veteran-turned-pop-star Ariana Grande will be honored at the ninth annual Billboard Women in Music Awards, which will be held in New York City on December 12.

Grande, who appeared on Broadway in the 2008 Jason Robert Brown musical 13, will receive the 2014 Billboard Rising Star Award, and Menzel, who earned a Tony for her starring turn in Wicked and who currently leads the cast of If/Then at the Richard Rodgers Theatre, will be presented with the Breakthrough Artist of the Year Award.

Menzel broke onto the Billboard Hot 100 chart with her hit single "Let It Go," which was featured in the Disney animated film Frozen. The song is the first from a Disney animated musical to reach the top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100 since Vanessa L. Williams's "Colors of the Wind" from Pocahontas in 1995; it also makes Menzel the first Tony winner for acting to ever reach the top 10.

Grande and Menzel join Taylor Swift on the list of honorees. Swift was previously named the 2014 Billboard Woman of the Year.

"To be recognized alongside some of the most influential women in the music business is such an incredible honor," said Grande in a statement to Billboard."Receiving the 'Rising Star' award is truly amazing and I'm extremely grateful!"

Menzel said, "I'm so honored to receive the Breakthrough Artist Award from Billboard. This has definitely been an amazing breakthrough year and I'm thrilled and humbled by it all, including this wonderful award."
