Memorial for Dolores Gray to be Held at Lambs Theatre logo

A memorial tribute to the Tony Award-winning singer/actress Dolores Gray will be held at the Lambs Theatre at 130 West 44th Street on Monday, October 28, beginning at 11am. The public is welcome to attend.

A video featuring highlights of Gray's career in films, TV, theater, and recordings will be screened at the memorial. The list of speakers and performers set to attend includes Julie Wilson, Ann Miller, John Epperson (a.k.a. Lypsinka), and the president of the Actors' Fund, Tom Dillon. Broadway performers Jeff McCarthy, Gavin Creel, and Casey Nicholaw will offer a musical tribute to Gray.

Dolores Gray died on June 26, 2002. Her career began in 1947 when she starred as Annie Oakley in the London production of Annie Get Your Gun. Other memorable roles included Mama Rose in Gypsy in the West End and Carlotta Campion in the London premiere of Follies. Gray appeared in such films as M-G-M's Kismet and Designing Woman.
