Meagan Kensil, Ian Lassiter to Star in Timberlake Wertenbaker’s The Ash Girl

Pipeline Theatre Company has announced casting for Timberlake Wertenbaker’s The Ash Girl, to run April 18-May 5 at The Connelly Theater. Jessika Doyel will direct.

In this unconventional adaptation of Grimm’s Cinderella, the Ash Girl fights through the fires to find her happy ending. Hers is a world of fairies in the mirror, brave field mice, and stepmothers with only the best of intentions.

The cast will star Meagan Kensil and Ian Lassiter as well as Sam Chapin, Jenny Donheiser, Megan Linde, Kate Manfre, Sydney Matthews, Dawn Newman, Shane O’Grady, Teddy Rodger, Rebecca Schoeffer, Ari Schrier, Arielle Siegel, Erica Smith, Jordan Smith, Nicole Spiezio, Camille St. James, Josh Woodward, and Zachary Zimbler.

The design team will include Andy Yanni (set design), Jeffrey Toombs (lighting design), Raphael Mishler (prop design), Seth Clayton (sound design), and Abbey Steere (costume design).
