The Roundabout Theatre Company production of Athol Fugard’s Master Harold…and the boys will be playing at Broadway’s Royale Theatre (242 West 45th Street) rather than the Booth Theatre, its originally announced home. The show is set to begin previews on May 6 and to open on May 29.

This revival of Fugard’s 1982 play, which explores a young white man’s coming of age in 1950s South Africa under the shadow of apartheid, features film star Danny Glover as Sam, Michael Boatman as Willie, and Christopher Denham as Hally. Lonny Price — director of A Class Act and Urban Cowboy, and an original cast member of Master Harold…and the boys — directs the production.
