Martin, McEntire, Stewart, Valli, et al. to Play Mohegan Sun

Ricky Martin, Reba McEntire, Rod Stewart, and Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons are among the acts scheduled to play the Mohegan Sun Casino in Uncasville, Connecticut this Spring.

Martin, the Latin pop superstar, will bring his “Black and White” tour to the Mohegan Sun Arena on April 28. Valli — whose life story is told in the musical Jersey Boys — will play there on May 12. Stewart, whose albums of standards have sold millions of copies, will be the featured entertainer on May 18.

McEntire, the country superstar who starred on Broadway in Annie Get Your Gun and who will repeat her role as Nellie Forbush in the concert version of South Pacific at the Hollywood Bowl this summer, will play the Arena, June 22.

Other acts who are scheduled to play one of the Mohegan Sun’s three theaters in the next few months include singers Jim Brickman, Billy Gilman Lesley Gore, Corinne Bailey Rae, Gwen Stefani, and Steve Tyrell, comedian Kathy Griffin, and jazz superstar David Sanborn.
