Mark-Paul Gosselaar to Guest Star on TNT’s Rizzoli & Isles

Mark-Paul Gosselaar will guest star on the new TNT crime drama Rizzoli & Isles, featuring Angie Harmon and Sasha Alexander, this season, according to TVGuide.com
The actor will play an old boyfriend of Alexander’s character, medical examiner Maura Isles, who returns to Boston after the murder of his older brother.
Gosselaar appeared in the Roundabout Theatre Company’s production of Theresa Rebeck’s The Understudy, for which he earned a Drama League Award nomination. He is best known for his TV work, including Saved by the Bell, NYPD Blue, and Raising the Bar.. His new series Franklin & Bash will also debut this season on TNT, and he will guest-star on Showtime’s Weeds opposite Mary-Louise Parker.
