Mark Consuelos to Join FX’s American Horror Story

Actor Mark Consuelos will join the second season of FX’s American Horror Story, according to EW.com.

As previously reported, this season will take place in an East Coast mental institution, where Consuelos will play one of the patients.

Stage veterans Jessica Lange, Sarah Paulson, Zachary Quinto, and Lily Rabe, who all appeared in the first season, will return as series regulars, playing different characters. The cast will also include James Cromwell, Joseph Fiennes, Evan Peters, Adam Levine, Chloe Sevigny, and Lizzie Brochere.

Consuelos was recently seen Off-Broadway in Standing on Ceremony: The Gay Marriage Plays. He frequently guest hosts LIVE! With Kelly with his wife Kelly Ripa. The pair also co-starred on ABC’s daytime drama All My Children.
