Mark Blum, Kathryn Grody Lead Donald Margulies’ The Model Apartment at Primary Stages

Mark Blum (The Assembled Parties), Diane Davis (Golden Boy), Kathryn Grody (The Marriage of Bette and Boo), and Hubert Point-Du Jour (The Brother/Sister Plays) will star in the upcoming Primary Stages production of Donald Margulies’ The Model Apartment at 59E59 Theaters. Even Cabnet directs the 1995 Obie Award-winning dark comedy, which runs September 24-November 1.
In The Model Apartment, Holocaust survivors Max and Lola (Blum and Grody) retire to Florida from Brooklyn, find their condo unfinished, and must spend the night in one of their complex’s model apartments where things aren’t always what they seem. Pulitzer Prize-winner Margulies’ plays also include Time Stands Still, Brooklyn Boy, Dinner With Friends, Sight Unseen, and Collected Stories, among many others.
The Model Apartment features a scenic design by Lauren Halpern, costume design by Jenny Mannis, lighting design by Keith Parham, and original music and sound design by Josh Schmidt.
