Marin Ireland and the Cast of Marie Antoinette Receive a Second Extension at Soho Rep.

Popular demand extends the run of David Adjmi’s historical comedy.

The New York premiere of David Adjmi's Marie Antoinette will add an extra week of performances to its run at Soho Repertory Theatre, moving its previously announced closing date from November 17 to November 24. Rebecca Taichman directs the production, which began performances on October 9 in advance of an October 20 opening.

Tony nominee Marin Ireland (The Big Knife) stars as the title character in this fantastical and comedic history play. The cast also includes Steven Rattazzi, David Greenspan, Marsha Stephanie Blake, Karl Miller, Jennifer Ikeda, Aimee Laurence, Chris Stack, and Will Pullen.

The creative team includes Riccardo Hernandez (sets), Anka Lupes (costumes), Stephen Strawbridge (lights), Matt Hubbs (sound), Christopher Ash (video), Amanda Miller (wigs), Jon Knust (props), Sam Pinkleton (choreography), Michael Rossmy (fight choreography), and Amanda Spooner (stage management).
