Real-life spouses Byron Jennings and Carolyn McCormick will play legendary stage couple Alfred Lunt and Lynn Fontanne in the New York premiere of Jeffrey Hatcher’s Ten Chimneys, a presentation of Peccadillo Theater Company running September 21-October 27 at the Theatre at St. Clement’s. Dan Wackerman directs the work.

Ten Chimneys, named for Fontanne and Lunt’s summer home in Genesee Depot, Wisconsin, explores the private life of the couple as they rehearse a production of Chekhov’s The Seagull with a young actress named Uta Hagen.

Emmy Award-winner Mariette Hartley and Michael McCarty also star in the production, with the cast also including Charlotte Booker, Julia Bray and John Wernke.

The production features scenic and lighting design by Harry Feiner, with costume design by Sam Fleming.
