Maria Friedman to Debut Rearranged in London

Olivier Award winner Maria Friedman will launch a newly conceived piece entitled Maria Friedman: Rearranged, which will have a limited season at the Menier Chocolate Factory, March 19-May 4.

Accompanied by an 11-piece band, Friedman will perform new rearranged versions of some of her favorite show tunes and contemporary songs, from the likes of Stephen Sondheim, Jacques Brel, Burt Bacharach, Jason Robert Brown, Andrew Lippa, George Gershwin, Leslie Bricusse, Kander and Ebb, Randy Newman, Michel Legrand, and Stevie Wonder.

Friedman’s many stage credits include Ragtime, Passion, The Woman in White, Chicago, Lady in the Dark, Sunday in the Park with George and Sweeney Todd. She has also performed frequently at the Café Carlyle in New York.
