Rocky Star Margo Seibert Returns to 54 Below With Busy Being Free
Get ready for a return engagement of her new solo concert.
The show, whose title is inspired by the Joni Mitchell song "Cactus Tree," will feature "the music that inspires her, tickles her, and speaks to this moment of finding herself in New York." She will be joined by songwriter Jahn Sood, musical director and pianist Chris Fenwick, and an ensemble of musicians including Alan Stevens Hewitt, Jeremy Yaddaw, and Ben Golder-Novick.
Seibert made her Broadway debut last season in Rocky, in which she sang the lyrics of Tony-winning songwriting team Ahrens & Flaherty along with her Tony-nominated costar Andy Karl. She also earned a Drama Desk nomination for her performance in Prospect Theater Company's Tamar of the River, which played at the Baruch Performing Arts Center in fall 2013.
