Lucie Arnaz to Host Abingdon Theatre’s AB*IE Awards

Lucie Arnaz will host the Abingdon Theatre Company’s AB*IE Awards, to be presented on September 13 at 6:30 at the company’s June Havoc Theatre. The awards ceremony, as well as pre- and post-show receptions, are free and open to the public.

The prizes, voted on by Abingdon theatergoers, are given to favorite production, director, cast members and designers. The productions from the 2009-2010 season that are eligible for the awards include Robert Cary and Benjamin Feldman’s Inventing Avi, directed by Mark Waldrop; Jan Buttram’s Phantom Killer, directed by Jules Ochoa; John Morogiello’s Engaging Shaw, directed by Jakob G. Hoffman; and Stephen Swift’s Sister Myotis’s Bible Camp, directed by Jerre Dye.
