Lori Gardner and Malcolm Madera to Star in The Deep Throat Sex Scandal Off-Broadway

Casting has been announced for the Off-Broadway production of David Bertolino’s The Deep Throat Sex Scandal at 45 Bleecker Street Theater. The show will begin previews September 17, with an opening on October 10. Jerry Douglas will direct.
The play takes the audience behind the scenes of the making of the 1972 porn film, through the raids, arrests and the banning of the film, to the political fallout of the ensuing courtroom drama.
The cast will feature Lori Gardner as Linda Lovelace and Malcolm Madera as Harry Reems, with Graham Stuart Allen, Frank Blocker, Stephen Hope, John-Charles Kelly, Rita Rehn, and Zach Wegner.
The production will have scenic design by Josh Iacovelli, lighting design by Graham Kindred, and costume design by Jeffrey Wallach.
