Loquasto, Mackie, et al. Win TDF/Irene Sharaff Awards
The Robert L. Tobin Award for Lifetime Achievement in Theatrical Design will go to three-time Tony Award winner Santo Loquasto. He has designed the sets and/or costumes for nearly 60 Broadway productions, and will be represented this spring by the Broadway revivals of Prelude to a Kiss, Inherit the Wind, and 110 in the Shade.
The Sharaff Lifetime Achievement Award will go to nine-time Emmy Award winner Bob Mackie. The designer, best known for the outfits he's made for such stars as Cher, Ann-Margret, and Carol Burnett, has contributed to such Broadway shows as Moon Over Buffalo, Putting it Together, and Lorelei.
Former Helen Hayes Award nominee Murell Horton will receive the Sharaff Young Master Award; Kermit Love, renowned for his work on Sesame Street, will receive the Sharaff Artisan Award; and the late Rouben Ter-Arutunian, a Tony winner for Redhead, will receive the Sharaff Posthumous Award.
