Lisa Brescia, Matt Doyle, Celia Keenan-Bolger, Caissie Levy, et al. Set for Under the Influence Concert

The songs of Kait Kerrigan and Brian Lowdermilk will be celebrated in Kerrigan & Lowdermilk: Under the Influence, a concert to be held at Birdland on Monday March 1 at 7pm. Daniel Goldstein will direct the performance, which will feature music direction by Vadim Feichtner

Among the artists set to appear are Caissie Levy, Celia Keenan-Bolger, Lisa Brescia, Matt Doyle, Katie Thompson, Meghann Fahy, Jay A. Johnson, Vienna Teng, and The Spring Standards. They will perform songs from a variety of Kerrigan-Lowdermilk shows, including The Unauthorized Autobiography of Samantha Brown, Tales From The Bad Years, and The Woman Upstairs, as well as covers of songs that have influenced the songwriting team’s work.

Kerrigan and Lowdermilk’s other musicals include Henry And Mudge, Wrong Number, and The Freshman Experiment. Their song “Say the Word” was performed by Miss New York in the 2009 Miss America Pageant live broadcast, and their work has been developed by the ASCAP/Disney Workshop, Goodspeed New Works, La Jolla Playhouse, the Lark Theatre Company, NAMT, Perry-Mansfield New Works, Primary Stages, and Theatreworks, among others.
