Linda Balgord, Bob Stillman, et al. to Star in Adam Guettel’s Myths and Hymns

Linda Balgord, Anika Larsen, Lucas Steele, and Bob Stillman will lead the cast of Prospect Theater Company’s production of the Adam Guettel song cycle Myths and Hymns, January 31-February 26.

This narrative version of the song cycle, adapted and directed by Elizabeth Lucas, tells of a daughter who moves her ailing mother out of the family home. The two must relive and confront their mythologized past. Wendy Seyb will choreograph the production, and Katya Stanislavskaya is the musical director. Musical supervision and revised orchestrations are by Robert Meffe.

The cast will also feature Ally Bonino, Matthew Farcher, and Donell Foreman.

The design team will include Ann Bartek (scenic design), Emily Morgan DeAngelis (costume design), Herrick Goldman (lighting design), and Janie Bullard (sound design).
