Lincoln Center has postponed the first event for its Platform Series of free-to-the-public pre-performance talks, which had been scheduled to take place on Thursday, October 28.

The talk with the co-creators of the new musical, Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown — Jeffrey Lane (book), David Yazbek (music) and Bartlett Sher (director) — which Lincoln Center is presenting at the Belasco Theater, will be rescheduled for a later date.

As previously reported, the Wednesday, November 10 at 6pm installment of the series will feature playwright John Guare and director George C. Wolfe discussing the new play, A Free Man of Color, which is being presented in the Beaumont.

Cast members from Women on the Verge will speak on Thursday, December 2 at 5:30pm, while A Free Man of Color cast members will participate in the series on Thursday, December 9 at 6pm. Specific participants for these latter events will be announced at a later date.

All events in the series will take place in the lobby of the Vivian Beaumont Theater.
