The Broadway productions of Newsies and Pippin celebrated their birthdays on March 26 with — what else? — a whole lot of cake. Newsies, which officially turns 2 on March 29, brought in a specially designed goody from City Cakes, and Pippin commemorated the first anniversary of its first preview on March 23 with a death-defying treat that needs to be seen to be believed.
