Lawrence, O’Hara, Reichard, et al. Set for The Songs of Sam Davis

Tony Award nominees Megan Lawrence, Kelli O’Hara, and Daniel Reichard will be among the guest performers at The Songs of Sam Davis, as part of Broadway at Birdland at 7pm on Sunday, October 7. The series is presented by Jim Caruso’s Cast Party and TheaterMania.com.

The evening, to be directed by Anette Jolles, will feature a variety of songs written by Davis with such lyricists as Randy Buck, Sean Hartley, Alisa Klein, Georgia Stitt, and Mark Waldrop. Davis will play the piano, alongside Sean McDaniel on drums, Brad Russell on bass, and John Benthal on guitar. The evening’s performers will also include Anastasia Barzee, Matt Farnsworth, Santino Fontana, Megan McGinnis, Matt McGrath, Karen Murphy, Benjamin Schrader, Patrick Sullivan, and Will Swenson.

This month’s Broadway at Birdland series also includes Legally Blonde composer-lyricist Larry O’Keefe (October 1), Jeffry Denman (October 8), Klea Blackhurst (October 14-15), Jason Graae (October 21-22), and Nancy Anderson (October 29).
