Laurie Anderson, Paul Taylor Dance Company et al. Set for Pace Presents

Programming for the inaugural season of Pace Presents at the Michael
Schimmel Center for the Arts, has been announced. The series is curated by Martin I. Kagan.
Paul Taylor Dance Company will kick off the year with two evenings of
performances by Taylor 2, the company’s acclaimed touring ensemble (January 6 & 7).
Events will also include Portuguese vocalist Ana Moura (February 10); the Grammy Award-winning Mariachi Los Camperos (February 11); musician Yasmin Levy with Omar Faruk Tekbilek (February 16); the Grammy-winning quartet Carolina Chocolate Drops (March 2); Laurie Anderson in Delusion (March 9 & 10); soprano Patricia Racette in An Evening of Cabaret (March 11); The Mariela Franganillo Company in Tango Connection (April 13 & 14); American Ballet Theatre Studio Company (May 4); and New York Choral Society (May 19).
In addition, there will be the recurring series, ENCORE! Great Painters and Their Masterpieces with Dr. Janetta Rebold Benton, with a focus on Michelangelo (February 8), Peter Paul Rubens (February 15), Claude Monet (February 22), and Georgia O’Keefe (February 29).
