Laurence Joins Alexander, Boll, Christian in Two Rooms Revival

Talk Radio star Michael Laurence will join Adinah Alexander, Patrick Boll, and Angela Christian in the Platform Theatre Group’s revival of Lee Blessing’s Two Rooms, to play Theatre Row’s Lion Theatre, starting on October 2. He replaces Michael Milligan. The production will be directed by Peter Flynn.

The play tells the tale of one man’s captivity by kidnappers and the emotional roller-coaster ride of his wife. Blessing’s plays include A Walk in the Woods, Thief River, Cobb, and Going to St. Ives. Next month, Primary Stages will present the New York premiere of his A Body of Water, starring Christine Lahti.

The show’s creative team will include Kevin Judge (sets), Jennifer Caprio (costumes), Thom Weaver (lighting), and Scott Stauffer (sound). Flynn’s directing credits include Henry & Mudge, Junie B. Jones, and Gypsy.

Alexander has starred in Wicked, The Wedding Singer, Parade, and Adding Machine. Boll’s credits include Twentieth Century, Dark at the Top of the Stairs, and All The Way Home. Christian starred on Broadway in The Woman in White, Thoroughly Modern Millie, and James Joyce’s The Dead.
