Kenneth Lonergan’s Margaret to Receive September Release

Kenneth Longeran’s film Margaret will be released by Fox Searchlight on September 30.
The film, which was shot in 2005, tells the story of a New York City high-school student who feels certain that she inadvertently played a role in a traffic accident.
The cast includes Matt Damon, Anna Paquin, Mark Ruffalo, Allison Janney, and Matthew Broderick.
Lonergan’s plays include The Starry Messenger, This Is Our Youth, Lobby Hero, and The Waverly Gallery. He previously wrote and directed the film, You Can Count on Me, for which he earned an Oscar nomination for Best Original Screenplay.
