Kennedy, McVety, Thorell, et al. Join Lone Star Love Cast

Complete casting has been set for the musical Lone Star Love, which will play Seattle’s 5th Avenue Theatre, September 8-30, before beginning previews at Broadway’s Belasco Theatre on November 1. The production, to be directed by Randy Skinner, will officially open on December 3.

Joining previously announced stars Robert Cuccioli as Frank Ford, Dee Hoty as Margaret Anne Page, and Randy Quaid as Colonel John Falstaff will be Lauren Kennedy as Agnes Ford, Clarke Thorell as Fenton, Ramona Keller as Miss Quickly, Drew McVety as Doctor Caius, Dan Sharkey as George Page, Kara Lindsay as Anne Page, Nick Sullivan as Sheriff Bob Shallow, and Brandon Williams as Abraham Slender. The ensemble includes Stacey Harris, Amanda Lea LaVergne, Ryan Murray, Monica Patton, Miguel A. Romero, Chad Seib, Jeremy Benton, Anne Horak, Kristie Dale Sanders, and Tony Lawson.

The show, which was previously presented by AMAS at the John Houseman Theatre, re-sets Shakespeare’s Merry Wives of Windsor to Texas during the Civil War era.
It is conceived by John L. Haber, with a book by Haber and Robert Horn, and a score by Jack Herrick of the Red Clay Ramblers, who will also appear on stage.

John Rando is creative supervisor for the production. The creative team includes Derek McLane (sets), Jane Greenwood (costumes), Ken Billington and Paul Miller (lighting), and Tom Morse (sound).
