Kelli O'Hara and More to Be Honored at 2019 Drama League Awards

The Drama League will honor Kelli O'Hara, Alex Timbers, and Taylor Mac at the 2019 Drama League Awards, to be held May 17 at the Marriott Marquis Times Square.
O'Hara, currently starring in Kiss Me, Kate, will receive the Distinguished Achievement in Musical Theater Award. Timbers, director of Beetlejuice and Moulin Rouge! The Musical, will get the Founders Award for Excellence in Directing. Gary: A Sequel to Titus Andronicus playwright Mac will receive the Unique Contribution to the Theater Award.
These honors are in addition to the five competitive Drama League Awards: Outstanding Play, Outstanding Revival of a Play, Outstanding Musical, Outstanding Revival of a Musical, and the Distinguished Performance Award. The 2019 nominees for these five awards will be announced on Wednesday, April 17.
