Kathleen Chalfant to Join Rosemarie Dewitt in MCC’s Family Week, Directed by Jonathan Demme

Kathleen Chalfant will join the previously announced Rosemarie Dewitt in MCC’s production of Family Week, by Beth Henley. Jonathan Demme will direct the production, to play the Lucille Lortel Theatre, April 7-May 23, with an opening on April 26.

The play focuses on a woman who checks into a recovery center in the desert, searching for a way to cope after the death of her son, and the effects of her family’s visits to her while she is at the center.

The previously announced Sarah Jones has withdrawn from the production due a scheduling conflict; additional casting will be announced at a later date.
