Kate Mulgrew Set for NBC’s Mercy

Stage and screen star Kate Mulgrew has been cast on the NBC drama Mercy, according to published reports. The series is about a group of nurses and their relationships.
Mulgrew will play the mother of the show’s lead, who’s played by Taylor Schilling. Last season, Mulgrew was seen on Broadway in Peter Shaffer’s Equus.
