Karen Finley’s latest work, The Jackie Look will debut later than expected due to the unexpected closure of Country Club in the West Village, the venue in which it was to have been presented. Performances of this multimedia piece were to have begun on September 19.

In The Jackie Look, Finley will use the iconic persona of Jacqueline Kennedy Onasis to explore history, style, trauma, femininity, and the demands of being the First Lady. The show will focus not only on history but also on present-day events and public figures. Finley will begin looking for a new space in which to present the piece later this year.
