Judy Torres to Make Guest Appearnce in My Big Gay Italian Wedding in July

Freestyle dance-pop singer Judy Torres will make a guest appearance in My Big Gay Italian Wedding, at St. Luke’s Theatre, playing Aunt Toniann for the performances July 15-16. Teresa A. Cicala has directed the production.

Among Torres’ many hits are like “Please Stay Tonight,” “Come Into My Arms,” “Love Story,” “I Love You, Will You Love Me,” “No Reason To Cry,” “Back In Your Arms Again,” “The Air I Breathe,” “Faithfully,” and “I Don’t.”

My Big Gay Italian Wedding focuses on two gay men as they plan their wedding and the people around them, including an overbearing Italian mother, a jealous ex-boyfriend, the wedding planner from Hell, and an assortment of family and friends.

The company also includes Anthony J. Wilkinson, Chase Coleman, Erik Ransom, Adam Shorsten, Brett Douglas, Liz Gerecitano, Leah Gerstel, Randi Kaplan, Chad Kessler, Kim Sozzi, Marissa Rosen, Meagan Robar, Joe Scanio, Joey Murray, Mike Russo and Tommaso Antico.

The production also features choreography by J. Austin Eyer, scenic design by Rob Santeramo, costume design by Philip Heckman, lighting design by Graham Kindred, choreography by J. Austin Eyer, and original music and lyrics by David James Boyd.
