Joyce Theater Foundation to Present Free Dance Performances in September

The Joyce Theater Foundation, Inc. will present two free performances on September 10 and 11 at 5pm in the Nelson A. Rockefeller Park in Battery Park City to commemorate the 10th Anniversary of September 11, 2001.
This special event will feature performances by the Limón Dance Company with Voices of Ascension of the company’s 1958 work Missa Brevis, featuring music by Zoltan Kodaly; the Paul Taylor Dance Company and the Orchestra of St. Luke’s performing Brandenburgs, set to Bach’s Brandenburg Concertos Nos. 3 and 6; and a new work created by Jessica Lang especially for this occasion. Additional performers will be announced shortly.
Seating will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
