Jose Llana, Paolo Montalban, Lea Salonga, et al. Set for PhilDev Celebrates Broadway: Suites by Sondheim Concert

A preliminary lineup of performers has been announced for the benefit concert PhilDev Celebrates Broadway: Suites by Sondheim, to be offered on Monday, November 7 at Alice Tully Hall. Victor Lirio will direct the event , which will have music direction by Tom Myron.

The concert will include songs from such Sondheim musicals as Anyone Can Whistle, Company, A Little Night Music, Merrily We Roll Along, Saturday Night, Sunday in the Park with George, Sweeney Todd, West Side Story, among others.

Scheduled to perform are Joan Almedilla, Raul Aranas, Ali Ewoldt, Rona Figueroa, Lydia Gaston, Adam Jacobs, Adam Jacobs, Jose Llana, Orville Mendoza, Paolo Montalban, Emily Morales, Jennifer Paz, and Lea Salonga, along with Aaron Albano, Alan Ariano, Marie France Arcilla, Emy Baysic, Billy Bustamante, Liz Casasola, Marc dela Cruz, Ariel Estrada, Brian Jose, Luz Lor, Jaygee Macapugay, Mel Maghuyop, Jake Manabat, Adam Marcelo, JP Moraga, Lora Nicolas, Diane Phelan, Chris-Ian Sanchez, and Melissa Singson.

The event will raise funds for PhilDev and its programs that support initiatives which accelerate the sustainable social and economic growth in the Philippines through science and technology, innovation, and entrepreneurship.
