Composer John Kander and book-writer Terrence McNally will participate in a pre-show discussion about the creation and history of their musical Kiss of the Spider Woman, to be presented by New York University’s Steinhardt School at the Frederick Loewe Theatre, October 1-5.

Kiss of the Spider Woman turns an otherwise tale of persecution into a spectacle that juxtaposes reality with fantasy. The discussion will take place on October 5 beginning at 6:30 p.m. There is no additional admission price, but a ticket for the evening performance is required.

Kander and McNally won respective Tony Awards for their work on Kiss of the Spider Woman, and have collaborated on other works, including The Rink and Chita Rivera: The Dancer’s Life.
