John Ellison Conlee, Daniel Jenkins, Rebecca Naomi Jones, and More to Honor Robert Hammond at The Civilians Gala

The Civilians’ will celebrate Robert Hammond and The High Line at their 2012 Benefit, held Monday, April 23 at The Highline Ballroom.

Members of the investigative theater company will honor Hammond, co-founder of The High Line, with its first-ever Civilian of the Year Award.

The evening will feature a performance of interviews and songs by Michael J. Friedman about Hammond and the High Line’s creation. Those interviewed for the one-night-only event include Amanda Burden, Director of the Department of City Planning, restaurant owner Florent Morellet, and event planner Bronson van Wyck.

The performance will also include past and current Civilians songs and scenes, featuring John Ellison Conlee and Daniel Jenkins, along with The Civilians Associate Artists Quincy Tyler Bernstine, Matthew Dellapina, Dan Domingues, Daoud Heidami, Nina Hellman, Rebecca Naomi Jones , Kelly McCreary, Greg McFadden, Caitlin Miller, Jennifer R. Morris, Maria Elena Ramirez, Jeanine Serralles, Robbie Collier Sublett, and Sam Breslin Wright.
