Joel Grey Offers an Evening of Cabaret to Benefit Bay Street Theatre
Grey gained praise for his role of Amos Hart in the Broadway revival of another Kander and Ebb musical, Chicago. His other stage credits include the leads in George M, Goodtime Charley, and The Grand Tour. In addition to his Academy Award-winning recreation of his Emcee role in the film version of Cabaret, Grey has appeared on screen in Dancer in the Dark, Kafka, and The Seven Percent Solution. He has had frequent guest and recurring roles on television in such shows as Brooklyn Bridge, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and Touched by an Angel.
"Joel Grey -- The Road to Cabaret" will be performed at 8pm on October 12. Tickets to the benefit are $100 per person and can be purchased by calling Julie Fitzgerald at 631-725-0818.
