Jimmy Smits to Narrate PBS’ Latin Music USA

Stage and television star Jimmy Smits will narrate Latin Music USA, a four-hour, two-part documentary which is scheduled to air on PBS on Mondays, October 12 and 19.

The documentary will include never-seen-before performances and interviews from Latino artists including Celia Cruz, Gloria Estefan, Ricky Martin, Fania All-Stars, and Juanes.

Smits’ stage credits include Anna in the Tropics and Twelfth Night. He is currently part of the cast of Showtime’s Dexter; his many other television credits include Cane, The West Wing, and NYPD Blue.
