An updated list of guest stars has been announced for Cedar City Falls — A Mid-West Conflict, which began October 6 at the Cell Theater, where it will play through October 27. The production will then move to Galapagos Art Space in Brooklyn, November 4-24.

Guest stars will include Talia Balsam, Nadia Dajani, Kate Jennings Grant, Jesse L. Martin, Daphne Rubin-Vega, Grant Shaud, John Slattery, and Joyce Van Patten. Sex and the City writers Liz Tuccillo, Elisa Zuritsky, Julie Rottenberg and Cindy Chupack are creating this eight-episode theatrical soap opera, which will be directed by John Ruocco and feature additional writing by Craig Carlisle and Jacquelyn Reingold. Musical direction is by Allison Leyton Brown.

The project tells the story of a small peaceful town filled with hard-working, God-fearing folk who, due to a series of unfortunate incidents and petty squabbles, gets plunged into full-scale civil war.

Performances will benefit a different charity each week, including Amnesty International, Doctors Without Borders, and the Center for Constitutional Rights.
