Jennifer Jason Leigh will join the previously reported Edie Falco and Ben Stiller in the upcoming Broadway revival of John Guare's The House of Blue Leaves. David Cromer will direct the production, which will begin performances at the Walter Kerr Theatre on April 4, with an opening set for April 25.

The play is set during the Pope's 1965 visit to New York City, which brings the hope of answered prayers and a few unexpected guests to an apartment in Sunnyside, Queens, where Artie Shaughnessy (Stiller), a zookeeper, pines for a new life as a popular songwriter. Falco will play his schizophrenic wife, Bananas, while Leigh will play Artie's mistress, Bunny Flingus.

Leigh made her Broadway debut in Cabaret and also appeared in Proof. She received a Golden Globe nomination for Mrs. Parker and the Vicious Circle, with other film credits including Short Cuts, Synecdoche, New York, and Single White Female.

Falco starred on Broadway in 'night, Mother and Frankie and Johnny in the Claire de Lune, and recently appeared Off-Broadway in This Wide Night. She currently stars in Showtime's Nurse Jackie and is best known for her Emmy Award-winning role of Carmelo Soprano in The Sopranos.

Stiller played the role of Ronnie Shaughnessy in the 1986 Broadway revival of The House of Blue Leaves. He is best known for his film and television work, earning a 1993 Emmy for writing on his The Ben Stiller Show.
