Jenn Colella, Steve Rosen, et al. Set for NYMF’s Kiki Baby

Casting has been announced for Kiki Baby, which will be presented as part of the New York Musical Theatre Festival. Lonny Price and Matt Cowart will co-direct the production, which will have choreography by Josh Rhodes and music direction by Mark Hartman.

With a score by Grant Sturiale, the show, set in Germany in 1931, centers on a woman who decides that her four-year-old daughter’s impressive voice might be the one thing to save her family from financial ruin.

The company will feature Jenn Colella as Kiki, Jill Paice as Christine, Steve Rosen as Levisee, Louis Hobson as Maladin, Jennifer Laura Thompson as Marina, Adam Heller as Adalph, Megan Lawrence as Frau Dangl, Eric Leviton as Patsy, Jim Walton as Paddy, and Helen-Jean Arthur as Grandmother.

The creative team will include James Noone (sets), Marc Janowitz (lighting), Wade Laboisonnier (costumes), David Gotwald (sound), Michael Starobin (orchestrations), and Annemarie Milazzo (vocal arrangements).
