Jeffrey DeMunn, Justine Lupe, and More Cast in Philip Seymour Hoffman-Directed A Family for All Occasions

Casting has been announced for LAByrinth Theater Company's upcoming production of Bob Glaudini's A Family for All Occasions, directed by stage and screen star Philip Seymour Hoffman (Broadway's Death of a Salesman). The play is set to run April 15-May 19 at Bank Street Theater, with an official opening on May 12.
The cast will feature Jeffrey DeMunn (The Last Days of Judas Iscariot), William Jackson Harper (Ruined), Justine Lupe (Harry's Law), Deirdre O'Connell (Circle Mirror Transformation), and Charlie Saxton (Movie 43).
A Family for All Occasions follows Howard, a recent retiree who now faces dealing with a promiscuous daughter, reclusive son, and overtired second wife. The family is driven to its unforeseen fate when his daughter's latest suitor comes by one night.
Philip Seymour Hoffman, former coartistic director at LAByrinth, is best-known for film roles including The Big Lebowski, Capote, and Moneyball. He has appeared on Broadway in Death of a Salesman, Long Day's Journey Into Night, and True West.
