Drama Desk Award nominee Jeff Goldblum (Seminar) and Tony Award nominees Mary Beth Peil (Follies) and Robin De Jesús (La Cage aux Folles) are among the actors who will join 2013 Tony nominee Laurie Metcalf (The Other Place) in Bruce Norris’ new play, Domesticated, at Lincoln Center Theater’s Mitzi E. Newhouse Theater this fall. Tony winner Anna D. Shapiro (The Motherf**ker with the Hat) directs the work, which begins previews October 10 in advance of a November 4 opening.

Commissioned by LCT, Domesticated involves a husband and wife (Goldblum and Metcalf) whose marriage is upended when they become embroiled in a scandal. The company also includes Vanessa Aspillaga, Mia Barron, Lizbeth Mackay, Emily Meade, Karen Pittman, and Misha Seo. Additional casting will be announced in the coming weeks.

Domesticated will feature scenic design by Todd Rosenthal, costume design by Jennifer von Mayrhauser, lighting design by James F. Ingalls, and sound design by John Gromada.

Norris won Tony, Olivier, and Evening Standard Awards as well as the Pulitzer Prize for Drama for his dark comedy Clybourne Park. Shapiro has directed many of his other plays, including A Parallelogram, The Pain and the Itch, Purple Heart, The Unmentionables, and The Infidel.
