Hamilton Star Brandon Victor Dixon to Join Jamie deRoy and Friends at Birdland

Jamie deRoy and Friends will bring a host of Broadway stars to Birdland on Sunday, October 16 for a 6pm cabaret show benefiting the Actors Fund.

The one-night-only event joins the club's Broadway at Birdland concert series. Proceeds will go towards the Jamie deRoy & Friends Cabaret Initiative — an endeavor that assists those in the cabaret industry who have medical needs and concerns.

Three-time Tony-winning Broadway producer Jamie deRoy will host the event, featuring performances by two-time Tony nominee Brandon Victor Dixon (Hamilton), Grammy-winning singer-songwriter Julie Gold, Julie Halston (You Can't Take It With You), legendary cabaret singer Marilyn Maye, and comedian Steven Scott.

Barry Kleinbort directs the cabaret, with musical direction by Ron Abel, leading Tom Hubbard on bass and Ray Marchica on drums.
