James Gandolfini, Brad Garrett, John Magaro, Molly Price, et al. Set for New David Chase Film

Stage veterans James Gandolfini, Brad Garrett, and John Magaro are set to star in the a new film, which is being written and directed by The Sopranos‘ David Chase.

The work, set in the 1960s, focuses on a socially awkward teenager who begins to shine as lead singer in his band, much to the unhappiness of his father.

The cast will also include will Brill, Bella Heathcote, Jack Huston, Lisa Lampanelli, Christopher McDonald, and Molly Price.

Gandolfini starred in the Broadway production of God of Carnage and will reprise his role for the show’s upcoming Los Angeles production, He is best known for portraying Tony Soprano on The Sopranos.

Garrett appeared on Broadway in The Odd Couple; and Magaro was recently seen in the Roundabout Underground production of Tigers Be Still.
