James Barbour, Melissa Errico, Brian Stokes Mitchell Set for Oliver! Benefit Concert

Irish Repertory Theatre has announced plans to present a concert performance of Oliver! on Broadway for its 2012 Annual Benefit Gala, to be held June 11 at 7pm at Broadway’s Shubert Theatre. Charlotte Moore will direct, and musical direction will be by Mark Hartman.
Oliver! is the story of an innocent orphan boy who escapes the cruel workhouse and joins a gang of roving pickpocket street urchins.
The cast will star Brian Stokes Mitchell, James Barbour, and Melissa Errico, with full casting as well as a full orchestra and chorus, including a children’s choir, to be announced soon.
In addition to the concert performance, the gala evening will include dinner with the cast at Sardi’s.
