As Broadway continues to reflect on Tuesday's Tony nominations announcements, the Daytime Emmy Awards have acknowledged the work of more of our favorite stage folk.

Alan Cumming was deemed ineligible for Tony consideration this season, as he reprises his Tony-winning role as the Emcee in Cabaret. The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, however, has listed him among this year's Outstanding Performers in an Animated Program for his role as Sebastian Winkleplotz on the popular PBS series Arthur.

Freestyle Love Supreme comrades and veterans of Broadway's In the Heights Chris Jackson and Lin-Manuel Miranda join Cumming on the 2014 short list. Jackson appeared on Broadway this past season in Bronx Bombers and After Midnight, and he is now in rehearsals for the upcoming Tupac musical Holler If Ya Hear Me. He earned a nomination in the category of Outstanding Original Song for composing "ABC's of Moving" for Sesame Street with lyricist Joseph Mazzarino.

Tony Award winner and fellow improv rap artist Lin-Manuel Miranda earned a nomination in the same category for his song "Rhymes With Mando", which he cowrote with lyricist Luis Santeiro, also for Sesame Street.

"These exciting nominations officially launch the 41st Annual Daytime Emmy Awards," said David Michaels, Senior Executive Director, Daytime. "This will be a true celebration of Daytime Television focusing on those behind the scenes that make so much of the great quality and innovation we see every day and those on-screen that invite us into the worlds of daytime drama, talk, legal courtroom, culinary, game shows, animation and children's programming we enjoy throughout the year."

The Daytime Emmy Awards gala will be held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on Sunday, June 22.
