Idina Menzel and Broadway Stars to Karaoke-Battle for Charity

The event will benefit Menzel’s A BroaderWay Foundation, which provides arts-centered programs to girls from urban communities.

Idina Menzel's A BroaderWay Foundation will host its annual karaoke benefit on Monday, May 21, at the Playstation Theater. Rosie O'Donnell is set to host the event, which will include the organization's first-ever Broadway karaoke battle featuring a number of top Broadway talents.

In addition to performances by cast members of The Lion King, Frozen, SpongeBob SquarePants, and Hello, Dolly!, the evening will feature Idina Menzel (Wicked), Jesse Tyler Ferguson (Modern Family), Melissa Errico (Billions), Corey Cott (Bandstand), Seth Rudetsky (Disaster!), Laura Benanti (Meteor Shower), Jennifer Nettles (Chicago), and more.

Founded by Idina Menzel and Taye Diggs in 2010, A BroaderWay offers girls from urban communities an outlet for self-expression and creativity through arts-centered programs. The organization's emphasis is on building self-esteem, developing leadership qualities, and striving for personal and social achievement.
